We represent company IT Work Force specializing in the recruitment of IT specialists. Currently, for one of our customers we are looking for candidates for the position PowerCentre Specialist in Wroclaw
The PowerCentre Specialist provides administrative, maintenance and technical support for PowerCentre 8.6 application.
Main Responsibilities include:
* Managing new environment by setting up Business Applications with strong understanding of security policies
* Providing Consultancy and defining best practices to applications development teams
* Analysing and tuning performance
* Identifying opportunities for automation and optimization solutions
* Developing prototypes to demonstrate product features
* Performing Quality tests and verify new functionality and latest upgrades
* Supporting Releases and Configuration Change Management
* Documenting platform architecture
* Providing day to day operational support including monitoring and housekeeping
Must to have skills:
* Candidates with strong knowledge PowerCenter 8.6 architecture and tools preferred. Candidates with strong background in other IT areas, similar tools and strong troubleshooting are encourage to apply
* Understanding data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
* Unix Server administration basics
Nice to have
* Shell Scripting
* Windows Server administration basics
* SQL development
* Exposure to various relational database environments
